Discovering Places at a Pleasant Pace.

I liked being able to do the tour at my own pace and listen to each commentary again. No need to rush after a guide who leads you around by the nose. You can stop and take photos calmly.

The tour is a good place to start and introduction to Aix en Provence I suppose. I felt like it was a bit brief, both in stops and explanations

An informative and reasonably comprehensive introduction to the old town in Aix. We tried following the tour in reverse given that the last stop was close to our accommodation. We did this with the self guided Dijon tour and it worked flawlessly, but it didn't work so well here. There are several stops that are inside a church and therefore do not appear on the map. The only way of knowing this is by following in the recommended sequential order. With respect to the food stops, one was closed on the Monday we took the tour and the other had changed owners so was called something different and was difficult to find. Nonetheless the tour is well done and worthwhile.
